Science Storytellers at ACS Kids Zone is presented by Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN) and ACS External Affairs and Communications. Founded in 1876 and chartered by the U.S. Congress, ACS is the world’s largest scientific society, whose mission is to advance the broader chemistry enterprise and its practitioners for the benefit of Earth and its people. C&EN is the weekly magazine of ACS, in publication since 1923.
Science Storytellers is a not-for-profit program connecting kids and scientists through conversation and storytelling. The program gives kids the opportunity to interview real scientists and get first-hand practice in the craft of journalism, while giving scientists the experience of communicating to young audiences and their families.
